Bay Village Modern

A collection of mostly mid century modern and early 20th century paintings, prints, furniture, jewelry, and decorations curated over decades.

A classic brownstone parlor with built-in shelving, a pair of bronze-patina boy and girl bookends, a striped wingback chair, a tribal Persian rug, and a gallery wall of framed sporting prints

A neighborhood point of view

Bay Village is one of Boston's smallest and oldest neighborhoods, a quiet enclave of Federal-era brick row houses tucked between the South End and the Theater District. Its narrow streets, gas lamps, and warm brownstone facades give the area a timeless character that continues to inspire the interiors we curate.

We believe mid-century modern design pairs beautifully with that heritage: the warm woods, bold orange, and chartreuse accents of the 1950s and 60s feel right at home against exposed brick and tall, sun-filled windows.

Our hand curated collection can help add some modern flair to your brownstone, ski chalet, Queen Anne, tenement studio, or any other home style.
